Instead of reading it as "...while holding down the Option key...", please try the following "tweak" to the procedure: 1. Select the desired area. 2. Click-and-hold the mouse button over (inside) the selected area. 3. While you still hold the mouse button, start dragging the mouse. 4. _Now_ press the Option key (or whichever combination of keys are needed in order to obtain the desired action/result), without releasing the mouse button yet. 5. Once the selected area is located in its desired destination, release the mouse button, and then release the Option key (or whichever other combination of keys you used). Does that work for you? |
